Thank you for inquiring about
glassblowing classes with Ambrosia Glass Arts! We are
excited about the opportunity to share this unique and
exciting art form with you! We are pleased to offer
classes to the beginning glassblower as well as to more
advanced students.

Beginning Glassblowing I – 5
weeks
$350
In this introductory class we will
explore the fluidity of glass, using a variety of
techniques to blow a different form each week. Students
will study the basic processes of glassblowing, become
familiar with the tools and equipment used as well as
get plenty of hands on experience. Each class will begin
with a 30 minute demonstration, followed by 1 hour of
glory time and 2 hours of assisting/learning time for
each student. This class is designed to accommodate
three students. All materials included.

Beginning Glassblowing II – 5
weeks
$350 After completing the first 5 week course, interested
students are invited to continue their study in our
Beginning Glassblowing II classes. These classes will
share some of the same elements of the Beginning
Glassblowing I classes, such as class size and
blow/assisting time distribution. The discussion and
demonstration time will however be much shorter,
allowing for more blow time to each student in order to
help develop their skills.

Beginning Glassblowing Weekend
Workshops
$200
A condensed version of the
Beginning Glassblowing class, perfect for those with
busy schedules. The weekend workshop meets from 1-5 pm
Saturday and Sunday.
This class is designed for the
person who wants learn basic glassblowing techniques,
but can’t commit to a four week class. The workshop
includes an introduction to the physics
of glassblowing and glassblowing
equipment. The goal for each student will be to make
their own ornament and drinking glass.

Private Instruction –
Private Glassblowing lessons by the
hour are available by appointment. All levels.
Make-up Classes – Ambrosia Glass Arts is not responsible for
classes missed due to student absence. Make-up classes can
be scheduled based on availability when the student gives
prior notification (at least 24 hours please) of their
